FEED THE PEOPLE
Our purpose is to feed the hungry, clothe the naked and give hope to the hopeless. Praying for and with the men and women we meet is a vital part of our ministry. "Feed the People" faithfully meets every saturday morning to prepare bagged lunches before hitting the streets. If you are unable to donate your time but would still like to be a part of this ministry, please consider a donation from the suggestion lists below.
Physical Needs:
Winter is here and we will be distributing more than just food this holiday season! Please bring hats, gloves, socks, scarves, jackets, sleeping bags, blankets and travel sized toiletries to bless those in need. A box is located in the church foyer for these donations.
Food-Prep Needs:
brown paper bags
quart ziplock bag (for two sandwiches)
styrofoam cups
napkins
Food Needs:
sandwich bread
lunch meat
sliced cheese
small bags of chips
individually wrapped snack cakes
bottled water
drink mix (tea, Kool-Aid, Tang, etc.)
coffee
We invite you to spend time in the mission field leading others to a saving relationship with Christ every Saturday at 7:00am as we hit the streets of Richmond to feed those that are hungry. All volunteers are welcome. If you are interested in reaching the hurting and lost, simply show up Saturday morning; We meet at the church.
